SMS Opt-In Process

This page documents exactly how Home Cleaners of Baltimore / HCOB Network (“HCOB”) collects consent to send text messages. Consent is collected only through opt-in forms on our own websites, hcobnetwork.com and hcobcleaners.com. We do not buy, rent, or import phone lists, and we never send text messages to anyone who has not opted in through one of these forms.
Where Opt-In Happens
- Contractor / worker sign-up form at hcobnetwork.com/register — new contractors provide their mobile number and may check an optional SMS consent box.
- Client quote and booking forms on hcobnetwork.com and hcobcleaners.com — clients requesting a quote provide a phone number and may opt in to booking/dispatch text updates.
- Virtual professional application form at hcobnetwork.com/vas.
What the Opt-In Looks Like
Below is the exact consent language and unchecked-by-default checkbox shown on our sign-up form, next to the phone number field. The checkbox is optional and is not pre-checked. Users can complete sign-up without opting in.

Disclosures Shown at Opt-In
Every opt-in checkbox on our sites includes, at the point of collection:
- The brand name sending messages (HCOB Network / Home Cleaners of Baltimore).
- The types of messages the user will receive.
- Expected message frequency (“message frequency varies”).
- “Message and data rates may apply.”
- Opt-out instructions: reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.
- A statement that consent is not a condition of purchase or sign-up.
- Links to our Privacy Policy and SMS Messaging Terms.
After Opt-In
- Consent is recorded with a timestamp against the user’s account.
- Every outbound message identifies HCOB Network and includes opt-out language where appropriate.
- Replying STOP immediately stops all messages. Replying HELP returns contact information.
- Mobile numbers and opt-in data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
