Moving out of a Baltimore rental: what to know

Book your clean for after the movers, not before. Cleaning around boxes and furniture means missed spots behind the fridge, inside closets and under beds — exactly where a final inspection looks.

Bulk trash won't be there in time. Baltimore City picks up 3 bulk items once a month on an assigned Saturday, booked through 311 at least 4 working days ahead. Baltimore County collects bulk items on two scheduled dates a year. If your lease ends this week, that furniture needs a hauler.

Rowhomes and apartment buildings take planning. Narrow rowhome stairs, no driveway, and apartment buildings that need a service elevator reserved — our crews are local and plan for it. Tell us about building rules when you book.
