The carpet on this basement floor and stairs was past saving — worn through, damp underneath and holding years of odor. Cleaning it would have been a waste of the client's money, so we said so. We pulled the carpet and pad from the floor and the stairs, removed the tack strips and staples, scraped the old adhesive off the concrete and hauled it all away with the rest of the cleanout, leaving a clean, dry floor ready for whatever comes next.

How much does carpet cleaning cost in Baltimore?

Up to 3 rooms is $199, each additional room is $55, and stairs are $50 per flight. Pet-urine treatment and heavy odor are add-ons, quoted from your photos before you book. Your quote is the price.

Can you get pet urine smell out of carpet?

Usually, yes, with our enzyme treatment. But if urine has soaked through into the pad, no cleaning can fully remove it. We'll tell you up front and quote cutting out the pad or removing the carpet instead — judgment-free either way.

How long does carpet take to dry?

Most carpets we clean dry in about 4–6 hours, depending on thickness, humidity and airflow. In Baltimore summers, running the AC or ceiling fans speeds it up. Keep furniture off the carpet until it's fully dry.

Do I need someone to come out for an estimate?

Do you clean carpet on stairs?

Yes, priced per flight at $50. Stairs get the most foot traffic in Baltimore rowhomes and townhomes. If stair carpet is worn out, we can pull it, remove the tack strips and staples, and haul it away instead.

Should I clean my carpet or replace it?

Clean it if it's in decent shape and the problem is dirt, stains or mild odor. Replace it if it's worn thin, rippled, or the pad is soaked with urine or water. We do both, so we'll give you a straight answer from your photos.

Can I add carpet cleaning to a move-out or deep clean?

Yes, and it costs less: $45 per room when added to a deep clean or move-out clean. It all goes on one quote and one invoice. Landlords can bundle carpet, cleaning, junk removal and repairs for a full turnover.
